Elgaar Farm Organic Club Cheese

A mouth-watering cheese, hand made from carefully selected wheels of our award winning aged vintage cheddar. Elgaar Farm Club Cheese has a crumbly; yet creamy, melt in your month texture with a wonderful sharp bite. Absolutely delicious crumbled over pasta and hearty soups, spread on crusty bread or served as part of a cheese platter. Elgaar Club Cheese is hot waxed in traditional black wax and is now available with chilli flakes, organic Tasmanian sage and organic bush pepper.

SHELF LIFE: Usually at least 3 months from delivery to retailer

INGREDIENTS: Organic Vintage Cheddar (Organic milk, organic culture, non-animal derived,
non-GMO rennet, sea salt), [chilli flakes, organic sage, bush pepper], sea salt.

PACKAGING:
• 150g hot waxed truckles

 

Recipe Idea
New Season Potatoes with Elgaar Farm Organic Club Cheese with Sage

Ingredients:

  • 10 medium new season organic potatoes (chopped roughly in half)
  • A good glug of organic extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 to 3 cloves garlic, smashed
  • ¾ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ to ½ cup Elgaar Farm Organic Club Cheese with Sage, crumbled
  • Fresh basil leaves for garnish

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 200 degrees.

Wash and chop potatoes. Mix with olive oil, herbs and spices. Spread evenly on a baking tray.

Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until desired crispiness. Flip potatoes around every 10 minutes for even browning.

At the end of cooking, toss through the club cheese with sage and serve immediately. Enjoy!
